Admissions
The Abbot Home is open for admission to ladies and gentlemen who desire to lead an active independent lifestyle, and who are generally in good mental and physical condition.
Residents should be of temperate manner, good character and reputation, and willing to live cooperatively and respectfully with others. Residents must be able to financially cover their entire rental obligations.
Anyone interested in living at the Abbot Home must:
- be 56+ years of age
- apply in person and meet with our Director
- provide basic medical information through their family physician
- presnt a negative, two-step tuberculosis test result
The Abbot Home is easy to experience. We do not require that you sign a lease or pay any fees or deposits, and your first month's rent is prorated. There are no "hidden" fees at the Abbot Home.
Admission is open to any person without regard to race, national origin, sex or religion.
